RIISAM202A - Isolate and Access Plant

Overview
The Isolate and Acess Plant course is designed to ensure the health and safety of all personnel who have to isolate and tag equipment in the work environment.

The course provides participants with the information on legislation and duty of care according to the Occupational Health and Safety Act and the Mines Safety and Inspection Act, as well as risk assessments and hazard analysis of energy sources. It also provides safe isolation and tagging procedures incorporating identification of plant to be isolated and the points of isolation, obtaining authorisation and safe work procedures, returning plant into service, and what constitutes a breach of procedures.

This course comprises an equal theory-practical component ensuring all attendees actively participate in Isolation and Tagging procedures.
