Overview
This course is aimed at any person(s) responsible for supervising work conducted at height on a BHIBIO site. This course is NOT Nationally Recognised Training.

PRE-REQUISITE
1. Successful completion of BHPBIO Working at Heights - General Worker - RIIOHS204A.

At the completion of this course participants will be able to identify legislative and/or site requirements for working at height, understand and evaluate risk assessments for working at height, correctly document and control a working at height permit and understand and apply common working at heights controls, e.g. harnesses, scaffold, etc, according to BHP Billiton Iron Ore Working at Heights - Supervisor Procedure TRN-IHS-SAF-153.

Clothing:Wear normal work clothing and safety boots.
Please bring own gloves and hard hat.
Please remove all jewellery prior to course.

 

On-Site Delivery Requirements
Each site must ensure the following:

Suitable classroom
Site procedures and documentation for working at height
Actual or simulated practical sessions for working at height

Note: If training is carried out on site, the client is responsible for travel and accommodation costs.
